Geode Slice. Leslie likes the colors and designs in stones and semi-precious rocks. For today's blog - geodes are thrown out by the earth when it is having a conniption. Earth does not have a tantrum the way humans do, but when things are under pressure deep inside, it throws up a lot of stuff - lava, geodes, volcanic glass, geysers, hot springs, etcetera. Sensible poets like Leslie stay out of the way. She has "been there, done that."
